Massage Oil

The Ingredients

OLEIC SAFFLOWER OIL

High oleic safflower oil is a naturally occurring liquid vegetable oil that exhibits extended shelf life without chemical modification of the original oil.

Studies suggest that oleic acid reduces inflammation and may even have beneficial effects on genes linked to cancer.

Safflower oil has certain skin care cosmetics due to its moisturizing effects. The oil can give your skin a smoother appearance and make it softer.

APRICOT OIL

Apricot oil is one of the oils that has a lipid content similar to that of your skin. When the skin’s lipid content becomes too low, dry and irritated skin results; topical application of apricot oil helps soothe and heal this rough, damaged skin. The oil’s fine texture allows more rapid skin penetration, which promotes more prompt healing and nourishment of sore or chapped skin without residue. Shirley Price, coauthor of “Aromatherapy for Health Professionals,” notes that apricot oil is also beneficial in relieving the itch and irritation of eczema-ridden skin. As an added benefit, apricot oil helps prevent and minimize the appearance of wrinkles.

HAZEL NUT

Hazelnut oil is loaded with skin-nourishing vitamins and essential fatty acids that help protect skin against sun damage, boost collagen production, and more. The high vitamin E and fatty acid content in hazelnut oil can help increase hydration in the outermost layer of the skin. By keeping skin hydrated, vitamin E also helps improve skin elasticity, making it look firm and supple.

Hazelnut oil’s fatty acids and vitamin E also make it an effective moisturizer. These ingredients help create a natural oil barrier that helps your skin retain water and avoid drying out.Hazelnut oil contains tannins, which are powerful antioxidants. The tannins in hazelnut oil make it an astringent that can help dry oily skin, cleanse and shrink pores, and remove bacteria.

Sunlight creates free radicals, which harm your cells and lead to signs of aging in your skin. Vitamin E helps protect your body by neutralizing free radicals and protecting cell membranesfrom sun damage. The vitamin E in hazelnut oil may also help reduce the appearance of fine lines.

ALMOND OIL

Almond oil makes an excellent moisturizer for both the skin and hair, and it may even help prevent stretch marks and protect your skin from sun damage.

One of the biggest secrets behind the use of almond oil for skin treatments is the high level of fatty acids contained in the final oil mixture. Fatty acids serve as a natural emollient for the skin, and can help the skin lock in moisture by forming a protective barrier. Emollients are especially effective for conditions like acne, eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea.

One of the other reasons why almond oil is beneficial is because of its ability to hydrate the skin. Almond oil works as a natural face exfoliator to help to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of healthier skin. When used topically, the formulated almond oil for skin products or treatments is absorbed by the fatty cells of the skin. The moisture in the oil is then utilized by the tissues to repair damaged cells and give skin a more youthful appearance.

AVOCADO OIL

Avocado fruit, and therefore, avocado oil are very rich in antioxidants and, especially, Vitamin E, which is known to be very powerful helper in the “battle” against skin aging process, fighting free radicals and protecting skin cells from oxidizing.

Avocado oil is ideal for dry, dehydrated and damaged skin, because it can “breath a new life” into it, increasing it’s elasticity and rejuvenating the skin.

Avocado oil is rich in vitamins, such as Vitamins A, E, D, B1, B2, K, PP…It can be used not only as a skin care treatment, but also, the vitamins mentioned above can be beneficial for the whole body. The only important thing is – make sure that you are not allergic to avocado oil.

Avocado oil is widely used in cosmetic industry, as a very powerful ingredient that can help moisturize your skin, nourish it and fight aging process, as we already mentioned. Most effective benefits avocado oil brings to our facial skin. This oil is considered to be “a base oil” that you can apply on the skin alone, in it’s pure form, or use it as a base for preparing essential oils’ mixes.

Avocado oil can be used daily and is beneficial for all skin types, it can be used, as a very effective and natural skin moisturizer. This oil will deeply penetrate to the deep layers of the skin and stimulate the production of collagen, therefore, improving the softness and elasticity of the skin and reducing it’s dryness.
